What a great year! Thank you to everyone, members, sponsors and fans. 2007 was a year such a success all do to all of you. We were affiliated with a total of 13 events! For an association only being active again for just 2 seasons that is a big accomplishment. Our greatest accomplishment was without a doubt the Sherri Gilkerson Bridle and Hackamore Spectacular and Wine Country Classic held together with Southern California Reined Cow Horse Association. We will be holding the event again in May 2008 at Casner Ranch in Temecula, CA. We are expecting an even greater turnout so keep an eye out for our advertisements and check the web sites for more information regarding classes, awards & sponsorship opportunities. We had so many wonderful sponsors last year and again this year we already have Pedigree Pet Foods, Tricia Gilson Advertising and Bridle and Bit leading the way to make our Premier Event outrageous in 2008. At the 2008 event AZRHCA will be awarding the first Sherri Gilkerson Scholarship. If you are interested in applying please visit our web site for information and application. In October we held our second annual Fall Classic and Clinics. This year we were so lucky to have World Champion and NRCHA Hall of Fame trainer Bobby Ingersoll give two clinics and judge our two day show event. It was a great four days and we look forward to our 2008 shows and clinics. AZRCHA will be presenting the 2007 Year End Awards at the 2008 AZ Nationals. We will hold a short members meeting and present awards an then host a barbeque and silent auction. The information for tickets is available on line or contact Mike Doud & Debbie Stack today to place your reservations. Be sure to get your reservations in today before the deadline, December 25th ,2007. We want to take this time to congratulate our members who did so well at the AQHA World Show in November; Jimmie Paul, Kevin & Karen Stallings, Marc Gilkerson, Randy Paul, Gary Lynn Olson & Jason Hershberger We were very well represented in the finals of the Open, Amateur Cow Horse Classes & Jr. & Sr. Reining. You all made AZRCHA very proud. All of the 2007 points and year end award winners are posted on our web site and will also be included along with the news letter. Also included are 2008 membership forms, info on voting for our 2008 Board Members, Year End Awards Barbeque, Sherri Gilkerson Spectacular and sponsorship opportunities.
